Dec 30 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq as of 1730 GMT on Thursday.

* BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb killed two people and wounded three after exploding outside the home of a Christian family in the Ghadir district of eastern Baghdad, an Interior Ministry source said. A spokesman for the Baghdad operations command said three people were wounded and nobody was killed.

* BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb near a restaurant wounded three people in Baghdad's central district of Karrada, an Interior Ministry source said. A spokesman for the Baghdad security command said no one was wounded and added that a second roadside bomb had been discovered before it detonated.

* BAGHDAD - Two roadside bombs exploded without causing casualties in the Amil district of southwestern Baghdad, while a third blew up in the southern district of Doura, also without wounding anyone, the Baghdad security command said.

MOSUL - Iraqi security forces arrested a suspected al Qaeda member who they said confessed to orchestrating a suicide attack on Wednesday on a police compound in Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, police and army sources said. The sources said they found explosives and video footage of the police headquarters in the man's car.

BAGHDAD - Two Katyusha rockets landed in and around the al- Zawra amusement park in west-central Baghdad, wounding three people, an Interior Ministry source said.

KIRKUK - Gunmen killed a man in the garden of his house in northern Kirkuk, 250 km (155 miles) north of Baghdad, police said. (Compiled by Baghdad newsroom)
